A Christmas Carol recounts the story of Ebenezer Scrooge, an elderly penny-pinching miser who is visited by the ghost of his former business partner and the spirits of Christmas Past, Present and Future. After their visits, Scrooge learns that the pursuit of money will not make a person happy but instead is the simple things in life like love and friendship.
