Grammy-winning singer-songwriter Melissa Manchester joins us for a red carpet event at the Rose and Alfred Miniaci Performing Arts Center at Nova Southeastern University.
In 1980 she became the first performing artist in the history of the Academy Awards to have two nominated movie themes in a given year, "Through the Eyes of Love" and "The Promise". She then made Oscar history by performing both songs during the worldwide telecast. Melissa Manchester received a Grammy Award in 1982 for Best Female Vocalist. Join us for this spectacular performance featuring hits like "Don't Cry Out Loud" and others that touched the hearts of people all around the world.
VIP tickets include a post event reception which the artist will attend.
This event is produced by Nova Southeastern University, Donald Roberts and Centerstage Productions Inc. All tickets include parking vouchers for the garage.
